Qualification is an ideal step for organizations looking to validate their achievement for meeting the standards without the logistics of an in-person survey visit. Qualification is a strong signal to patients, payers, and partners that your organization and centers meet essential safety and quality standards for excellence.

Early Qualification 

You can apply for early Qualification up to twelve months prior to opening. Early Qualification is a provisional award to assist in meeting regulatory and credentialing requirements. Your practice must be opened no later than twelve months after approval. Once opened, a virtual survey must occur within 90 days.

Steps Toward Qualification

START

New to Qualification? Simply email us at connect@caucq.org and we'll send you an application.

Include in email:
• Program of Interest
• Organization's Legal Name
• Key Contact
(Full name, email, and phone no.)
• Number of Centers

Renewing? Apply nine months prior to expiration.

PREPARE

Once your application is accepted and payment is received, you’ll have access to the Resource Center.

Included in the Resource Center:
• Standards Manual
• Sample Policies
• Preparation Checklists
• FAQs

Initial applicants have twelve months from application to request their survey.

For renewing organizations, we'll schedule your survey to occur three to four months before your Qualification expires.

SURVEY


The length of the virtual survey depends on the size of the organization. On average, the virtual survey is two days.

After a successful survey and completion of any required post-survey actions, your organization will earn Qualification.

Qualification is granted for 36 months from the date of your survey (initial organizations) or expiration of your prior cycle (renewing organizations).
